Expedition to the Pantanal

Conhecer o Pantanal foi incrível fortaleceu nossa crença de que o Brasil ainda possui muitas áreas verdes e espécies da fauna e flora preservadas. Iniciamos essa viagem pelo município de Miranda-MS, passamos por Bodoquena, seguimos sentido Corumbá e chegamos na fronteira da Bolívia. Percorremos mais de três mil kilômetros para captação dessas imagens desde nossa saída e retorno à Curitiba. A experiência nos traz a sensação de termos que repetir mais vezes expedições como essa. O maior desafio foi fotografar a onça pintada no pantanal. Apesar de termos estado muito próximos de mais de um exemplar, e avistado em duas ocasições, pela velocidade, distância e agilidade dos animais, não conseguimos nenhum registro bem sucedido. Voltaremos com certeza registrar a onça pintada e outras maravilhas desse brilhante ecossistema.
Knowing the Pantanal was incredible and kept us with the belief that Brazil still has many green areas and species of fauna and flora preserved. We start this trip through the municipality of Miranda-MS, we pass through Bodoquena, we continue towards Corumbá and arrive at the border of Bolivia. We have traveled more than three thousand kilometers to capture these images since our departure and return to Curitiba. Experience brings us the feeling of having to repeat expeditions like this one more often. The biggest challenge was to photograph the jaguar in the wetland. Although we were very close to more than one specimen, and sighted on two occasions, because of the speed and agility of the animals, we did not get any successful records. We'll be sure to record the jaguar and other wonders of this brilliant ecosystem.
